Getting started!

Well after much persuasion I am finally joining the blog crowd. Apparently I DO give into peer pressure! Thank you Tara for setting up our family blog page.

I hope to keep our blog updated to let our friends and family into this journey we call life.

Here is a brief update on the last 6 months:

Justin and I recently delivered our first baby.

Colton Michael Mellow!

He was 3 1/2 weeks early. Good thing I had my last day of work on the 12th of January. I f I would have not taken the month prior to my delivery date off, all the jokes about delivering the baby in my office would not have been so funny.

Our lives have turned upside down and sideways, for that matter, since Colton came.

He has done nothing but make my life whole.

We have had quite a few bumps in our lives since we found out we were progo.

We truly feel that Colton was sent down at the most important time of our lives.

Many think a new baby is a big stress. But I feel he has been my stress reliever.

I speed everyday to pick him up from "school", that's what I call daycare. I can't wait to play and snuggle my lil man. He is pure entertainment! Life changes everyday with him and so we don't even have time to blink, or we could miss the best part.

I now know why people have so many kids!!!

I finally understand pure unconditional love......
